First trip to Tennessee as a Titan

Mini camp with my new team went very well. There was a lot of information to process then apply on the field in a quick manner. Identifying my responsibilities as a Safety on the white board and in my playbook is far easier than making calls and checks with live bodies moving in front of me. The physical demands of the camp were challenging as well. Coach Rob, the Secondary Coach, pushed us through drills at rapid pace. He took the time to address our errors and help us improve as players. I believe I respond best to a “coaching” leader rather than a “yeller” and the Titans Staff is the former.

I return back to Nashville in a week amidst the flood waters that have damaged the city. I recognize that I do not have a surplus of funds, but I plan on making a financial contribution to a local flood relief organization. To those in Nashville harmed by this unfortunate occurrence, I will continue to pray for your safety and perseverance through these times. Be blessed!

  • I am, to say the least, SO impressed with this guy. Why can’t everyone in the NFL and world be so humble? I can now say I have found my new favorite NLF player. Keep leading by example and hopefully this world will become a safer and happier place.

  • Myron, Wow! I just heard the interview with you on NPR this morning! I think we should put your picture up on the wall in Cleveland where LeBron’s face used to be. I am a teacher, and you are going to be the example of a dedicated scholar athlete that I celebrate with my students.
I am going to enjoy watching your success with the Titans this season. Best wishes for a great rookie season.

  • Hats off to you Myron! You are one of the few athelets that I will advertise and support publicly. My son pays close attention to how atheletes act and speak when interviewed and I am excited that we now have an educated athletic man to look up to. Your hard work has paid off and I look forward to the next chapter of your life. Please remember that we are watching !!!! Don’t let the NFL and money change you !!!
